It's a great product, especially for guys with oily-prone skin, I have been using this product for the past 2 months and would definitely recommend it.
If you sweat a lot I would suggest applying it and letting it set for 20 min before you undertake any strenuous activity as it dies and leaves a moisture-retaining film on your face but will obviously make u feel sticky if it hasn't had time to absorb properly.
My ingredients break down.
Propanediol: This ingredient acts as a gentle humectant, locking in moisture without causing irritation. Studies (Wang et al., 2016) have shown its effectiveness in improving skin hydration.
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter: Shea butter is a true skin savior. It's packed with vitamins and fatty acids that nourish and soothe the skin. Research (Smit et al., 2002) indicates its anti-inflammatory and moisturizing properties.
Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil: Jojoba oil is a natural emollient, and it mimics the skin's natural oils. Studies (Pazyar et al., 2013) suggest it can help regulate sebum production, making it suitable for various skin types.
Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride: This ingredient is known for its lightweight texture and skin-softening abilities. It enhances the absorption of other ingredients and helps create a non-greasy formula (Cunliffe et al., 2017).
Red Micro-Algae Extract (Scenedesmus Rubescens): Rich in antioxidants, this extract can combat free radical damage. Research (Riss et al., 2017) supports its role in protecting the skin from environmental stressors (great for those hard-working lads).
Sodium Hyaluronate: A powerful hydrating agent, it retains moisture and plumps the skin. Clinical studies (Pavicic et al., 2011) confirm its efficacy in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice: Aloe vera is renowned for its soothing properties. It can calm irritation and redness, as evidenced in studies (Surjushe et al., 2008).
This product's formula, based on current evidence-based research, combines these ingredients to create a skincare masterpiece. It's gentle yet effective, suitable for various skin types, and has noticeably improved my skin's texture, hydration, and overall appearance. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a dermatologist-approved skincare solution.
